Pablo Corvalan, Felix Madrazo, Manuel de Rivero, Elena Chevtchenko
Juan Pablo Corvalán (Geneva, 1973) lived in Canada, Paraguay, Chile and Switzerland. Graduated as an architect in the Ecole d’Ingénieurs de Genève (1996, Switzerland), did validation studies and diploma at the Universidad de Chile (2000, Chile) and Master degree in Berlage Institute (2002, The Netherlands). Founding member of Supersudaca, think “guerrilla” for urban action and research. He obtained the price of l’Association Genevoise d’Architectes (AGA) with his diploma project (Prof. Ugo Brunoni) and worked in Chile with Mathias Klotz-architect and the Geographic Institute of the Pontificia Universidad Católica. In 1999 he is part of the founding faculty of School the Architecture of the Universidad de Talca. He was part of the “Panorma emergente Iberoamericano” selection at the IV Ibero-American Architecture Biennial (2004, Peru). He has imparted lectures and workshops in Lima, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Rotterdam, Durban and Kuala Lumpura and written articles in Domus and other publications in Chile. Currently a professor at the school of architecture of the Universidad de Talca, developing among others projects a research with MVRDV (Winy Maas and Manuel de Rivero) about the Central Valley in Chile and setting Supersudaca’s base in Chile: Supersudaka.cl
Felix Madrazo (Saltillo, 1972). Architect by La Salle University (1996), studies in Arizona University (1994) and at the Metropolis postgraduate program of the CCCB-UPC, Barcelona (2001). He obtained his Master of architecture at the Berlage Institute, Rotterdam (2001-2002). Founder and active member of Supersudaca, a collective space for research and projects related mainly to Latin-America.With Supersudaca in 2004 receives the first prize for research at the IV Bienal Iberoamericana de Arquitectura in Lima, Peru, with the proposal of Y PREVI? This research about the international competition on experimental housing in Lima in 1969 will end up in book at the end of 2006. Also with Supersudaca wins the Best Entry Award at the 2nd International Architecture Biennale in Rotterdam, 2005 with a presentation on the impacts of tourism in the Caribbean region. Currently he is the coordinator of Network Partnership between the Prince Claus Funds and Supersudaca. Since 2004 he works for OMA / AMO (Office for Metropolitan Architecture / Rem Koolhaas) in Rotterdam in different types of projects and research. From 1998-2000 worked for the studio of Alberto Kalach in Mexico City. In 2003 he received a fellowship by the Kulturstiftung (Germany) to make projects and research related to informality in Caracas, Venezuela with the Caracas Urban Think Tank. Runner Up Europan 6, Rotterdam 2001 with Aglaee Degros and Stefan Bendiks. In collaboration with Arch. Hugo Sanchez:1st Prize in the Tepozteco competition organized by the Mexican magazine Arquine,1st Prize in the competition for a Museum of War Mexico-U.S.A, 1999. He has taught at the Anahuac University in Mexico City from 1998-1999 and has gave lectures in Durban, Caracas, Santiago (Dominican Republic), Lima and Rotterdam.
Manuel de Rivero (Lima, 1973) graduated as an architect from Universidad Ricardo Palma (Lima, 1996). Between 2000-2002 did his Master in Architecture & Urbanism at the Berlage Institute (Netherlands). As an associate architect in the office LR&T between 1995-2000, he designed and built a series of projects in Peru. From 2002-2005, he worked in the award winning Dutch office MVRDV as a project leader in charge of diverse projects around the world. As a professor, has taught at Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima, the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam, Yale University in New Haven and at international seminars at Spain, Netherlands, Dominican Republic, Argentina and Chile. He has been active as an architectural writer in many journals from Latin America and Europe as well as editor of books such as ‘Five Minutes City’ (Episode Publishers, 2003) ‘Climat’, (Editions Carre, 2003) ‘MVRDV / KM3 (Actar, 2005). Since 2004, his practice is based back in Peru and is a professor at the Universidad Catolica del Peru in Lima. He is a founding member of Supersudaca, a think-tank for architecture and urban research that won the Research Award on the IV Ibero-American Architecture Biennial, as well more recently the Best Entry Award at the II International Architecture Biennal of Rotterdam.
Elena Chevtchenko (Kiev, Ukraine, 1981) moved to The Netherlands in 1992. Graduated as an architect at Delft University of Technology in Delft, The Netherlands in 2005 (Masters degree). Before architecture studied art and sculpture in various art studios in Ukraine and The Netherlands and dance (semiprofessional) with the “Oktyabrsky Dvorec” professional dance company in Kiev, Ukraine and the Conservatorium in Enschede, The Netherlands. In 2003 joined Felix Madrazo for a 6 months research on informal culture in Caracas, Venezuela in the framework of Caracas Case, a project of the Caracas Urban Think Tank and Kulturstiftung des Bundes (Germany). Prior to coming to Caracas worked for Juurlink+Geluk Urbanism and Landscape design office in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on several projects, including the winning competition entry for Maastricht Aachen International Airport, currently under construction. Active Supersudaca member since 2003, was actively involved in the award-winning AL_ Caribe project for the 2005 International Rotterdam Architecture Biennale. Since 2006 is working again for Juurlink+Geluk Urbanism and Landscape design.

Noriko works at a publish company. She has lived in Shimokitazawa for 10years.She start her life in Shimokitazawa, like by accident. She really feels love and be facinated for this neighborhood. And she wants to keep living in Shimokitazawa as long as she is in Tokyo. She wants to learn and truly understand many kinds of phenomena in Shimokitazawa. Therefore this workshop will be a good chance for her to do that.

Ryo is 20years old and studying architecture and urbanism at the Faculty of Environmental Information of Keio University. He is belonging Riichi Miyake lab. and Hiroto Kobayashi lab. Out of the university he exhabit at INAX GARALLY in Tokyo and at EDO-TOKYO MUSEUM about canal-project. He keep in touch with City with woking about Kyojima factory in Sumida-Word in Tokyo etc. Currently he interested in space. He think there is potential of media desig using architecture and senser and wanting to join such a kind of project. He llikes playing foot ball and play for long time. He is a "Musashinokko" who loves Kichijoji and Inokashira park.

During1999-2006,I have traveled by self -help ,countries like hong kong, korea , japan, new Zealand , uk , Italia, & France .
and I very like to dance in club with different kind of music, as hip-hop, disco, techno, soul……

Born in 25/1/1985 from Takayuki & Machiko. Moved in Tokyo from Aichi in 2003. And enter Meiji Univ. Long for the sea so begin surfing. Spend all time sutudying architecture so University becomes my home in 2005. Enter Urban and Architectual Design Lab. and learn architecture/ urbanism in 2006.
From nom on as Lab. work; March /2006 engaged myself in design MIZONOKUCHI restaurant. May Join in art event in TAMAKAN. Now continue various works and join join in Urban Typoon .
