Registration:
Urban Typhoon welcomes registration from students, architects, urbanists, artists, designers, media & communication specialists, social scientists, activists, creative people, dreamers, and idealists of all kinds.
The number of registrants is limited. Each unit has a small number of participants. Participants should specify which units they would like to join and briefly explain why. The first registrants will be given priority in the choice of their units.
Some unit work will be needed to use PC. Participants bring a aptop PC with you as well as possible.
Foreign students are eligible for homestay, free of charge. The number of accommodation is limited, so it is advised to apply early. If you wish to apply for homestay, please specify it in the registration form.
There is a flat registration fee of 10,000yen (about $85 USD and €70), payable upon registration on Monday 26.
Residents of Shimokitazawa, Japanese particpants who provide home stay for foreign participants, as well as people helping with the organization of the workshop
can pay a discounted registration fee of 5,000yen.
People willing to support the workshop can do so by paying a special support registration fee of 20,000yen.
The fee includes attendance to all events including the Cultural Typhoon symposium, and common expenses such as the workshop space, equipment and workshop material, party, and hot drinks during the workshop.
